the feeling...the water -the odd yellow shading into the cooler color/s..makes it seem a time not reachable. past present or "future"-it is like--even the tree..is is what pulls you back to the time/less time? loss? reunite?

i think the girl is in several images-on a rock-or by water-
who is she?
is she your gf?
i feel so much whenever i see her in an image-and if not her in all images that look like her-i ..whatever.
the oaks?
hospital?
a place of intense feeling and meaning?
i think you mention the oaks a lot?
you have a way of really bringing so many periods of feeling time and loss and closeness(?) into one thing. also-the always endless water-or many spaces you make in to such intense images--and far off horizon--seen as there (the horizon) yes..even large spaces w/o a person.
i just feel a very FELT "story" in many of your images.
is it ok to ask who she is?

The Oaks is a treatment center I spent some time in when I was 15. It took a huge toll on me, I was misstreated, and the staff were verbaly and physicaly abusive to the guys in canyon boys(that was our unit).
I feel like I wasted all my time while I was there. I made no real progress.

The girl is my sister, she is in alot of my pictures.

I took down the mark so you could see it better, I didnt realize how big the watermark was, It really does take away from the image.

I like how you've managed to create an overlap and blending of the layers, as would happen with a double exposure
